Volvo Open 70 “Ericsson 1”

Volvo Open 70 designed by Farr Yacht Design and built for the 2005-2006 campaign is a fast and reliable boat perfect for regattas and fast cruises. Sister boat to the “Pirates of the Caribbean”. She is a great performer in ocean racing class and provides good accommodation during longer distances to a crew up to 12 people. In 2018 her rigging was fully renovated by the owner. Starting2019 season, she will be available for Atlantic cruises, Caribbean regatta season and European Mediterranean major events. The yacht has a canting keel, driven by a hydraulic machinery, allowing to pivot the underwater ballast up to 40 degrees for increased stability and speed.
